This Monday show, I talk about high school arts and why those spaces are important. I went to an arts night at Templeton Secondary School and was blown away by the quality of the student films they showed. It reminded me of how we patrionize kids and stifle their creative output by assuming they can’t produce the goods. Their musical, based on Edgar Allan Poe, was entirely written by the students and again, was just so beyond what I expected. And then I have an anxiety attack and I talk through it.
